As you think of digital media in the classroom, what is the first thing that comes to your mind? If you had to spend your own money on your resources, what would you purchase? How can we expect students in poorer schools to compete with the students in more affluent areas when it comes to digital media? Our webinar will focus on various technology tools we can use with elementary age students to fit their learning mentality. Too many times technology is geared toward the upper grades and it is difficult to create lessons for primary age students. From Sesame Street to iPad apps and other school programs including Starfall, Accelerated Reader, and KidBiz, students can access these applications at home and at school. It is important to keep up with our children’s technology interests, aptitude, and changing potential skills.
